JOB TITLE: FLOWER TEAM MEMBER
REPORTS TO: FLOWER TEAM LEAD

SUMMARY: Flower Team Tech’s are responsible for maintaining all aspects of flower rooms, from cleaning and reloading, to pruning and training of the plants, to room monitoring and data keeping both through paperwork and plant tracking software. Your job will be to prioritize tasks based on strain specific requirements, as well as collaborating with other departments to improve practices and coordinating activities such as harvest. In searching for the right worker, we are seeking hard-working individuals able to follow directions well with minimal guidance. A passion for cannabis cultivation is also a big plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:
· Oversee and guide the production of plants through the flowering cycle, up to and including harvest day.
· Cultivar specific pruning and training of plants to maximize production.
· Cleaning and preparation of growing zones as demanded by production schedule.
· Assist Fertigation Team with daily feeding activities, as needed.
· Work collaboratively with other production areas (i.e. IPM, Fertigation, Sanitation, Post-Harvest, and others) to coordinate daily tasks and monitoring programs.
· Collect data through Master Formulas by keeping diligent records and working with our Seed to Sale plant tracking platform Ample Organics.
· Oversee, train, and assist in evaluating Production Team Members as assigned.
· Cleaning work areas, rooms, and equipment at the end of each day or as needed in accordance with sanitation and maintenance standards.
· Continuously review SOPs to remain up to date with constantly evolving best practices.
· Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Provide exceptional production support by:
· Working with your peers and your team leaders daily to maximize efficiency by consistently modeling a positive attitude towards work, being accountable and
responsible to daily, weekly, and monthly goals and adapting to changes in all tasks where required, which may include being cross trained in other departments.
· Learning from your direct leaders, team leads, peers and utilizing other resources available to continually expand your knowledge base and fine-tune processes.
· Assist in the development of reports for department/focus area.
· This position may require working scheduled weekends as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum one year in a fast paced, highly regulated work environment
· Able to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and written
WORK CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to plant pathogens, pollen, allergens, dust, odors, and other volatile organic compounds, extreme temperature, lights and high noise levels. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time in a climate-controlled environment, walk, kneel, crouch or crawl as required and safely lift a maximum of 50 lbs. The employee must ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and knowledge of how to manage their own personal safety under these conditions
