THE OPPORTUNITY
As Grab-N-Go Lead you are responsible for the overall growth and teamwork within the Grab-N-Go area. Working closely with your peers; including but not limited to the Director of Food and Beverage, Sr. BOH Manager, FOH Manager, and Store Manager. You must ensure that the companies’ standards are upheld; including freshness, consistency, presentation, proportions, and cleanliness while doing your best to create an enjoyable experience for our customers.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering phones quickly, and communicate with BOH team for orders placed with Twinleaf Diner
- Prepare made to order subs, sandwiches, and wraps
- Prepare made to order pizzas, ensure hot dog roller is filled, and rotating food display is filled with sliced pizza, wrapped burgers, and other food to-go items
- Smoothly operate deli slicer machine and scales
- Stock Grab N Go kiosk in the store communicating with the Grab N Go/Diner Food Prep Worker if items are low
- Organize and maintain fresh ingredients inside coolers at all times
- Ensure food items are properly stocked
- Work with teammates to complete assignments
- Report equipment and food quality problems to manager
- Support team during busy times
- Works efficiently under pressure
- Introduce and promote new items or specials, ensuring team is aware of process and recipes for finished product
- Make sure food is clearly labeled and rotated to ensure freshness
- Properly dispose of past dated food and record in waste log
- Cash handling and operation of POS (Point of Sale) touch screen register system
- Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Manage employee’s daily routines ensuring a smooth transition in shifts
- Ensure that Grab-n-Go area is properly cleaned and sanitized each day
- Develop a “deep clean” weekly schedule
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool diploma, GED, or an equivalent certification with,
- 2+ years’ experience in a managerial position is an asset
- Preferable experience in a multi-location C-store environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be detail-oriented
