Sales Account Specialist

Full Time

SUMMARY: The Sales Account Specialist plays a dual role: driving sales growth and ensuring efficient order fulfillment for all retail/wholesale orders for Seven Leaf clients. This involves building strong customer relationships, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing order/reorder processing, and coordinating logistics. Oversee most fulfillment-related activities, including order processing and confirmation, inventory tracking and planning, picking, packing, and shipping preparations, to ensure all orders are received, packaged, and delivered accurately and in a timely manner. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to meet client needs and achieve sales targets.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

Sales & Account Management:

· Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with Seven Leaf clientele

· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts.

· Develop and implement sales strategies to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.

· Monitor customer accounts and ensure satisfaction.

· Billing/Accounts receivable; Generate customer invoices, track payments, collections, and resolve discrepancies.

Communication & Support:

· Respond to customer inquiries and provide support as needed.

· Onboard new customers, gathering required information, such as valid copies of Nation/Tribal license or status cards, main point of contact, preferred delivery days, times etc.

· Communicate with clients regularly regarding order status, fulfillment updates, reorder needs, and potential issues.

· Collaborate with internal teams (finance, sales, production, operations) to resolve issues and improve processes.

Fulfillment & Operations:

· Coordinate order processing, including picking, packing, and distribution.

· Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment.

· Work closely with warehouse staff and other team members to optimize fulfillment processes.

· Monitor and manage logistics, including shipping and delivery.

Wholesale Management

· Maintain product strain spreadsheet, track origins, usage, and upcoming strains.

· Receive, verify, and inventory all third-party wholesale products.

· Support new third-party/wholesale product launches, providing information to marketing.

· Manage product returns from stores.

Optimization & Efficiency:

· Identify areas for process improvement within the fulfillment process.

· Utilize technology and systems (e.g. inventory management systems, warehouse management systems) to improve efficiency.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and fulfillment.

 

Working Conditions:

· Office-based position with regular interaction with production and fulfillment teams

· Requires lifting (up to 50 lbs)

· Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

· Standard working hours with occasional extended hours based on needs. Occasional travel

Skills & Qualifications:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

· Experience with order management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) is often required.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is beneficial.
