JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Production Laborer
REPORTS TO: Lead Production Laborer/Production Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly | Administration
JOB SUMMARY: The Production Laborer performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products, including receiving, packaging, and labeling products. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain focused while being adaptable in an ever-changing business environment.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Work under the direction of Production Lead and Management, working closely with fellow production team members and complete assigned tasks both as team and independently.
▪ Responsible for trimming, weighing, assembling, and packaging cannabis flower.
▪ Weighing, assembling, and packaging cannabis flower into prerolls
▪ Apply labels to all packaged products.
▪ Responsible for accurate tracking and weighing of all packaging/production projects as assigned by Managers.
▪ Assist with inventory and warehouse management of cannabis products.
▪ Accurately count, process, and pack finished goods for distribution.
▪ Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, and repetitive movements.
▪ Participation in counting of physical inventory as needed.
▪ Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
▪ Maintain equipment in good working condition.
▪ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
▪ Cannabis product knowledge an asset, including cultivation methods, harvesting techniques, product types, product profiles, strains, consumption methods, and possible effects.
▪ Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
▪ Able to stand or sit for long periods of time, depending on the task.
▪ Able to bend, twist, and lift upwards to 50 lbs. regularly.
